Samantha Russell, M.A., AMFT 

Samantha Russell (AMFT125739) is an associate psychotherapist who integrates expressive arts, somatic awareness, and energy medicine into her work to offer her clients a deep and highly effective experience of transforming trauma into wisdom and well-being. She has worked with all ages including adults, couples and children since 2013, and has had a private healing arts practice with clients worldwide since 2001. 

Samantha holds a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology with a concentration in Expressive Arts Therapy from the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology. She completed the Comprehensive Hakomi Training on mindfulness-based somatic psychotherapy at the Hakomi Institute of California, and completed the Sound, Voice and Music Healing training at the California Institute of Integral Studies. Samantha trained in midwifery with Elizabeth Davis, trained as a doula with DONA and has facilitated multiple births, and trained in EMDR with Phil Manfield. Samantha is also a Level IV Sacred Anatomy Energy Medicine Practitioner and works on staff at Sacred Anatomy Academy co-teaching the energy medicine practitioner training with Desda Zuckerman. She is also a Reiki Master Teacher, certified Polarity Therapist, Doula, Sound Healer, soprano vocalist, composer, and mother of one child, and many rescue animals.

Samantha, especially loves helping pregnant women, and expecting parents to prepare for a conscious empowered pregnancy, birth, and parenthood by helping them to release personal, relational, intergenerational, and karmic trauma, conditioning, and debris, so the incoming children can be brought into a sacred, energetically prepared space where they can grow and develop with a continual connection to their soul purpose and divine essence. She provides continued parenting support and also works with children, teens and families to bring emotional health and harmony to the family system. She also particularly enjoys working with professional, spiritually oriented women who are interested in resolving past trauma and conditioning and discovering the full potential of who they really are as magnificent beings of active intelligent light. In 2019 Samantha founded the Chalice of Light Energetic Empowerment Program, to educate people about their energetic anatomy, what it is and how to use it. Samantha offers in-person sessions in Corte Madera CA, and offers online psychotherapy services statewide in California. 

Fees start at $180 per 50-minute session. A 15-minute free phone consultation is offered to ensure a good fit. Understanding that financial resources are different for everyone, a sliding scale may be available to accommodate individual needs.
